Clare, English teacher

Experience

Clare has been teaching English for over 6 years, specializing in general, business and academic English.  She has taught in the UK and in Italy and has successfully prepared students for Cambridge and Trinity College exams.

Clare also coaches students for GCSE English Language and Literature and A level exams with annual success.

Background

Clare holds a CELTA, a BA(Hons) from King’s College London and an MA in Professional Writing from Falmouth University.

After initially working in language teaching, Clare spent some years as a manager in government departments and the charitable sector before returning to teach English for businesses and direct method organisations.

Interests

Clare loves London transport, singing and drama, bookshops and literary events, walking and travelling to interesting places.  She speaks French and Italian and has a few words in Turkish, Russian, Polish, Spanish and Japanese!
